Assistant Manager

Stuart Robert is a former Operations Manager in the steel industry who transitioned to being a stay-at-home dad a few years ago. Now, he’s re-entering the workforce to pursue his passion for food and drink, excited to bring his unique experiences and enthusiasm to others.

Stuart’s love for connecting with people through food and drink has been a constant in his life, and he finds joy in expanding his knowledge and sharing it with others. His early exposure to the industry came from helping his uncle at a liquor store during nights and weekends—a role he cherished more than his “real” job. Although he’s now delving into the business side, Stuart’s passion for pairing food and drink has always been a central part of his and his wife’s entertaining style. During his retirement years, Stuart developed a deep appreciation for bourbon, often hunting for unique bottles to add to his personal collection.

A graduate of Rhodes College, Stuart has remained in Memphis while spending considerable time traveling with his family. Belize is his home away from home, where he can often be found enjoying a Belizean rum. His palate is as diverse as his interests, enjoying everything from pastor street tacos and charcuterie boards to fresh crème brûlée. Stuart’s go-to drinks include an earthy Malbec, a hoppy IPA, or any form of coffee with its many accompaniments.

Outside of his culinary explorations, Stuart is an avid Peloton enthusiast, proudly part of the “cult within the cult within the cult.” A standout memory for him was celebrating his 20th anniversary with a trip to New York, where he had the thrill of participating in three consecutive live rides at the Peloton studios.
