Joshua Hammond

A proud alumnus of The University of Alabama, Josh Hammond joined the family business in 1993 after graduating from the Business School. Serving as President of Operations, Josh oversees all personnel, processes, and IT systems. His commitment to quality control, customer service, and event philanthropy is integral to our store’s success. Josh has traveled throughout California, Washington State, Italy, France, Australia, & Chile; and loves a good bourbon, pinot noir, or white burgundy. Josh is a huge advocate for independent liquor retailers, having served on the Tennessee Wine & Spirits Retailers Association (TWSRA) since 2000 and on a national liquor retailer board American Beverage Licensees (ABL) based in DC. His dedication to serving the industry culminated in a “Forrest Gump” moment when he attended the oral arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court for the 2018 TWSRA vs. Thomas case. When he’s not following The Tide, Josh enjoys golfing, waterskiing, and relaxing with his wife, two children, dog, and four cats.
