The master of all things wine, John is one of the city's most reputable and renowned experts in wine, dining and culinary arts. With 40+ years in the industry, including 30 at Buster’s, John Vego has gained a celebrity following. His extensive experience is highlighted by his attendance at multiple educational seminars in California, Washington, and Oregon. Notably, he was honorably selected to attend the very first Oregon Pinot Camp in 2000. John has also attended countless New Orleans wine experiences, where he won a blind tasting competition by identifying 10 out of 10 wines correctly. As our Senior Wine Consultant, John focuses on ensuring that Buster's continuously seeks out new wines and the right products for our customers and prominent collectors. Renowned for his extensive expertise, John serves as our in-house specialist focusing on Collector Cabs, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Italian wines.A husband and devoted father, John loves taking family trips and cooking gourmet meals at home over a bottle of wine.
